Simon came recommended to me by a work colleague. The immediate hook was his 1% rebate policy – 1% of the price of a house can be a lot of money. I was concerned that this lowered fee may be reflected in lowered service but the opposite was true: He was incredibly reachable (even when on a weekend trip), timely and incredibly competent – he was very knowledgeable about the market in general and also knew lots of little things (termites, appliances, insurances, services, market value etc) that none of the other (selling-) agents seemed to know anything about. In addition, he is very non-imposing and lets you form your own opinion BUT when it came to negotiation time, he was very very very good in a non-overbearing sort of way. I would choose him over any other even if he charged the same as others.
