I have the utmost respect for Simon Mills and could not imagine BUYING my new home (May 2012), or SELLING my last home (Sept 2011), without him. Simon exceeded all my expectations of what I could ever want in a realtor…or any professional. He is tops in his field with an expertise in real estate that excels above most “professionals” I’ve come across in Los Angeles and if he’s representing you, the inevitable stress that comes with buying (or selling) your home will be lessened by the comfort that such a knowledgeable and capable expert has your back. He is always calm. Always available to you, and despite his sweet face – NOT a push over by any means. I felt, and was, well protected as his client and able to carry complete trust in his guidance and negotiations on my behalf. I can’t imagine ever working with, or paying the astronomical fees “traditional” agents’ demand. As a proactive person, I’m not one to sit back and waste time while someone – who barely knows me – finds me my perfect “dream home”. Why waste such time (and money) when I can do it myself and put a couple extra thousand back in my pocket after the purchase! Ditto for the sale of my home, which Simon represented. While escrow took 3 months due to the buyer’s difficulty getting funded, my home was on the market and under contract within a 72 HOUR period…and we DID close escrow with that buyer for near asking price! THAT is the power of the internet…good photos…and Simon. Clean up folks, stage it right and Simon is all you need to sell your own home and save yourself THOUSANDS in the process! For both the recent purchase of my home, and sale of my last home, Simon was there every step of the way to answer any questions, verbally hand-hold if I got angst in the “waiting game” and BRILLIANT with the contracts, which is an valuable necessity. Quite simply, if you are considering Simon Mills Realty – GO FOR IT! You’ll be happy you did.
